Touched Out is a representation of the impact that my children have on my life. Their fingers and handprints mark my work. I offered my children the opportunity to create a portrait of me. They used their hands to remove charcoal from my self portrait. The charcoal is forever changed and what is taken away is remade into their own representations of myself.
